The Mueller Premium Apple Corer is the perfect tool to simply and efficiently remove the center core from various fruits and vegetables, including all varieties of apples and pears, pineapple slices, and bell peppers, to name a few. Sturdy high-quality stainless-steel blades with sharp, serrated tips will allow you to core through any apple with ease without easily bending or breaking the blades. After coring your fruits or vegetables, the blades open-up and you can simply release the unwanted core for convenient disposal. The non-slip handle is molded to provide an ergonomic, steady grip. The tool can also be used for decorative purposes to remove the center of cupcakes or to shape fruits such as melons.
- Position the blades of the Apple Corer directly above the apple core.
- Slide the protective guard down, so it shapes over the apple.
- Hold the guard with one hand while you push the handle down and blades through the apple.
- Rotate the handle slightly, so the blades fully cut around the core.
- Hold the guard with one hand and pull up the handle to remove the core.
Hold the Corer in a vertical position, and while holding the guard in one hand, use a pump-action to push the handle forward, so the core pops out.
The plastic piece around the Apple Corer is a protective guard to protect fingers from the sharp blades during use.
The Apple Corer is top-rack dishwasher safe (under 150°F / 65°C).
