• The type of bean is largely up to personal preference, but in general, medium to dark roasts are the norm. 
  • The grind should be within the range coarse to medium-coarse
  • Note that the finer the grounds, the stronger the brew, and the coarser the grounds, the weaker the brew. 
  • If your coffee tastes weak, the coffee may be too coarse. If your coffee tastes bitter, this is an indication that the grounds are too fine due to over-extraction. 
  • For the best flavor and aroma, we suggest freshly grinding your coffee beans. 
  • It is possible to use pre-ground coffee.
