- Before juicing any produce, it is important to wash the fruits or vegetables thoroughly to remove all contaminants, including soil and pesticides.
- Certain fruits should be peeled before juicing, including citrus fruits, pineapple, melons, beetroot, etc.
- Cut ingredients into small pieces for easier juicing.
- For hard ingredients such as carrot, chop into approximately 1 inch cubes. The smaller the pieces, the easier it will be to juice.
- Leafy green vegetables such as spinach can be juiced. Simply roll the leaves into cylinders of appropriate size before feeding into the cylinder.
- Do not overfill the feeding cylinder.
- Use the pushing tool to assist feeding the ingredients to the auger. Never force the pusher, use light pressure.
- Do not place your fingers into the feeding cylinder while juicing.
