Blending: Use the Blending Attachment to prepare smoothies, milkshakes, soups, blending steamed vegetables, frostings, or baby food.
Whisking: Use the Whisk Attachment for whipping cream and egg whites, and for mixing light cake mixes and batter.
Chopping: Use the Chopping Bowl with Blade for foods such as meat, cheese, onion, herbs, garlic, carrot, walnuts, almonds, prunes, etc. Do not use for extremely hard food such as ice cubes, coffee beans, nutmeg, and similar.
Plug in the Hand Blender to the power outlet. Turn the speed control knob to adjust the speed of the blender, then press and hold down the Power button to operate. As a safety feature, when the Power Button is released, the unit will stop and the blade or other attachment will stop rotating.
This button is pressed down separately to the main Power Button and is used to gain an extra burst of power by increasing the frequency of turns to the maximum value. The turbo function is typically used at the final stage of blending and also for harder to blend ingredients.
